The MMO vibes continue! I like this as well because it feels like a starter dungeon. Daena is an important part of the story, but is also just one part of it, so that's really cool. Loved the fight with the giant!
That was very entertaining. Lots of action with 3 Rifts and I was not expecting the Giant to go down without more help. The Companion mechanic is so different - and seems like a fun aspect of the game. Great episode!
Having Companions is very fun! Monsters usually have stats that scale with more characters. It can be quantity, actions per turn, etc, so the fights get balanced and, depending on the extra character you have, even more challenging.
I tweaked the mechanic to work on the scenario. The vanilla rules are much more interesting!
