"Hope is not without woe in a cursed path, but a hollow must fan even the faintest embers." Aliana the Dethroner sets off to find Ashen Lady Moira the Unquenchable, defiler of the church.
A cadre of failed rolls on 6d6 is definitely the same feeling I got the one time I tried to play Dark Souls and made it all of 10 minutes before I rage quit (my reflexes are hot garbage apparently).
I've watched my brother play Nightreign a fair bit recently and it looks like I'd *maybe* be able to play, but I know it'd end with me wanting to chuck my controller into the tv.
You're welcome, friend! I know how much I appreciate comments on my stuff, so I try to comment on the content I read as much as possible. Engagement is a great motivator!
Oh hey, I have that same dice tray! I'm loving the gothic vibes of this, it feels claustrophobic, but open, and I'm always a fan of body horror (in fiction) so the tentacles and pustules was very atmospheric. I like the gameplay loop, although I think I would have to take a long walk after that 6d6 roll haha.
You made my day! I think you can relate, but I always struggle between fleshing out characters and setting and moving on with the story—even though it's a playthrough, I don't want to just write barebones dice roll results. It's great to know that the atmosphere worked for you. Thanks a lot!

Epic entry! Looking forward to the next realm.
Hahah it takes a while to get used to it.
Thanks a lot for reading and commenting, Eric! Means a lot to me.
