Wandering the ruins of the Burning Fortress, Homura longs for serenity. But to deny his blade is to deny his existence. Can he attain peace within? Or will he forever be a slave to violence?
A really enjoyable read! I think you showcased the mechanics and the gameplay loop looks super interesting. I really enjoyed your writing style for this one too, and Mythic seemed to gel pretty well the prompts and the book, so that's always nice as a player haha.
I really enjoyed the story. It gives a good feel of the game and it's narrative mechanics. I think it is well written. Hopefully we get to see more Burning Fortress in the future.
Damn. Without reading the rules etc. of the game - I feel like you have encapsulated its essence very well. This is your story within Burning Fortress and it has peaked an interest in me to ponder what mine might be like. I can tell a lot of thought went into this.
The part where finding serenity in the journey rather than destination was perfect.
My friend you have composed a riveting tale! I enjoyed myself immensely, and really appreciate the reflective nature. Is this a one-off or will Homura-san have another adventure in the Burning Fortress?
Thanks a lot for the support, Eric! I'm really glad you liked it.
I'm thinking it's a one-off, as it kinda closed an arc and displayed the game's dynamics. Of course, it doesn't mean I can't revisit Homura's journey at some point, right?
You’re welcome! I think its a great place to close the story if you wanted, it told a story and did it quite well. Looking forward to what you do next!

Thanks a lot, Solum! Yeah, I really enjoyed the loop!
And I agree, Mythic can give an oomph to a game.

Thanks a lot, Ivo! Revisiting Burning Fortress is definitely on the table.
You're welcome. That is great to hear.

Thanks a lot, Kerova! You made my day.
Sparking interest in the games I play is my goal, so that's perfect!
